AP-02 — Foundational AI Literacy Training¶
Strategy Reference¶
- Objective 7 — AI Capability and Adoption (foundational training by month 6)
- Section 12, Phase 1 — Foundational AI literacy training delivered to 100% of employees, mandatory before expanded access
Goal¶
By month 6, every Feoda employee has completed foundational AI literacy training and demonstrated baseline competency. Foundational training gates expanded AI access — employees may not be granted Confidential-tier or Restricted-tier workflows until training is complete.
Scope¶
In scope: - All employees, contractors, and consultants performing Feoda work - All offices and regions
Out of scope: - Role-specific advanced training (covered by Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the strategy roadmap) - Client-facing training material
Curriculum (target)¶
The training programme covers:
- Why this matters — Feoda's AI strategy, principles, and the human-authority model
- Data classification — the 5-tier model (Public, Internal, Confidential, Restricted, Prohibited) and how to identify each
- Approved tools — what is approved, for what data tier, how to access
- Prompt fundamentals — clear instructions, context, examples, validation
- Validation discipline — how to check AI output before acting on it; common failure modes
- When not to use AI — judgment, relationships, irreversible decisions, boundary cases
- Reporting — how to report concerns, near-misses, and incidents
- Knowledge check — short assessment; pass required for completion
Deliverables¶
- Curriculum document — structured outline, learning objectives, time per module
- Delivery materials — slides, recorded sessions, written reference, knowledge-check questions
- Delivery plan — instructor-led + self-paced options; cadence; scheduling; tracking method
- Completion tracking — central record of who has completed; gating into AP-01 access provisioning
- Refresh policy — how often training is refreshed (annual minimum)
Milestones¶
| Milestone | Target Month | Exit Criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Curriculum drafted and approved | Month 1 | Document approved by Head of Technology |
| Materials produced | Month 2 | Slides, recordings, knowledge check ready |
| Pilot delivery (1–2 cohorts) | Month 3 | Pilot complete; feedback incorporated |
| Full rollout | Months 3–5 | All employees scheduled |
| 100% completion verified | Month 6 | Tracking shows 100% of employees passed |
Dependencies¶
- None for design and delivery
- Tied to AP-01 — Identity-Bound AI Access: training completion gates expanded access provisioning
Risks & Mitigations¶
| Risk | Mitigation |
|---|---|
| Employees treat training as a checkbox exercise | Knowledge check with pass threshold; refresher cycles |
| Curriculum becomes outdated within months | Quarterly review; living-document model |
| Delivery slips and gates Phase 2 work | Start in Month 1; pilot early; instructor-led + self-paced parallel |
Success Measures¶
- 100% completion among Feoda employees by month 6
- Knowledge-check pass rate ≥90% on first attempt
- Reported AI-related near-misses or incidents post-training (tracked, target: low and decreasing)
- Employee feedback rating ≥4/5 on usefulness
